Just a wee lil' update for y'all!

Hey Everyone!

Hope everyone has had an AMAZING week so far! The team have been on a uni break week this week but that hasn't stopped Team Kitchen Sink from continuing to develop Powersink! :D

Here's some things people have been up to this week, starting with Triton!

Hello friends! For this week’s work I’ve nearly completed modelling the cube boss for our game but still need t the details and then have it polished. I would estimate that I will finish it by the end of this weekend and once I’m done with that, I will start modelling the fishes for our game. Any who, I can’t wait to see the cube finished and implemented for our last level which I think is exciting. That’s all from me folks and ill see y'all next week!

Wow Triton! That model for our boss is looking great! Keen to see the finished product soon :D

And now we will hear from Luke about what he's been up to during the break week :)

Hey there guys, This past week has been rather slow for me as I've been dealing with some minor burnout. Luckily the team is on top of things so I've been able to deal with that. The work I've done so far includes making the lighting prefab a singleton, which means we can change settings in run-time and have it stick between levels easily. I also discovered an amazingly simple way of creating a caustics effect with amazing god rays by using a directional light and a cookie (which Tash is sorting out for us). I have also sorted out the options menu which had to be scrapped for PGF as it had a few issues. Those are now fixed and the options are ready to be connected. Anyways, thanks for reading peeps and I hope you enjoy our progress as we go.

Thanks Luke! Definitely good to take breaks, thanks for being so dedicated to Powersink! :D

And lastly we will hear from me, Tash!

So this week I haven't been up to much because there's been quite a bit due for other assignments at uni. The things i have been doing though is sorting out some hand painted caustics textures for our game which Luke has already touched base on. And also writing this blog! And that's about it for this week! :D

So as you've heard, we have had quite the week! Sorting out things for Powersink and other units as it's getting to that stressful part in the semester ':)

Thankyou everyone for reading this blog! It means a lot to us here at Powersink that you take the time to find out what we've been up to and your support is very valuable to us!

We appreciate you all very much! :D

Many thanks again,

Team Kitchen Sink
